Coming into someone’s home an entryway is one of the first things you see. In our home the rules aren’t any different. The first thing you see when walking into our house is our flex room also known as our entry space. When we built our house my husband and I did not agree on what this multipurpose space would become. I wanted it to be a playroom while my husband wanted the space to be a sitting area. We compromised on a game room where our family could come together and play board games, sip coffee or reflect on the day. Although we finally came to an agreement, I’m not sure it’s exactly a game room. In fact, I think Joe got his way and that this is more of a sitting area. Here are some of the items we purchased for our home. Because we designed this room back in 2019, most of these items are no longer available and I’ll be sharing some similar items for substitutes.

Chairs– These are one of the few items still available online! It’s been awhile since I put this room together and therefore many of the items are sold out or discontinued. You can find them at Target.
Tufted Bench– Unfortunately the bench we purchased is no longer available at Wayfair. However, here is similar option that can be found at Pottery Barn.
Curtains– Although these curtains are the perfect color I was looking for and the price is ideal, these curtains are extremely difficult to train. But none the less here they are.
Picture Frames– My original frames were found at Home Goods but here are a similar set found on Amazon.
Fiddle Leaf Tree– I found our fiddle tree in store at At Home but this one is very similar!
